bmibaby has announced a new summer route from Malta Airport to East Midlands Airport.
Services to East Midlands Airport will commence on 29 May 2010 and will operate on Tuesday and Saturday. The airline expects to carry approximately 13,320 passengers on the new route over the summer months.
bmibaby is currently the only low cost carrier to operate flights from Malta to East Midlands Airport. Prices on the new route start from just €57.99 one way including taxes and charges and are bookable online.
Launched in 2002, as part of the bmi group, bmibaby currently fly from four UK bases: Manchester, Cardiff, East Midlands and Birmingham to 31 European destinations. bmibaby is well known for being the fun, friendly airline, headed up by its cheeky spokesbaby, Tiny.
