Requirements for Entry into North Macedonia from Malta

 

Testing 

Passengers travelling to North Macedonia from Malta are required to present one of the following upon arrival in the country:

  • certificate of COVID-19 vaccination (full dosage received);
  • certificate proving that they have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 45 days, counting from the day of recovery;
  • certificate confirming a negative result of an RT PCR SARS-CoV-2 test, taken not more than 72 hours before entry into the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia
  • negative result of a rapid antigen test, taken not more than 48 hours prior to entry into the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Passengers under 18 years of age are exempt from the above requirements.

 

Quarantine

Any passengers who do not present any of the abovementioned certificates must observe a self-quarantine period of 7 days at their own expense. Self-quarantine can be terminated after the fifth day, only by submitting a medical certificate with a negative result from the RT PCR SARS-CoV-2 test.
