Requirements for Entry into Lithuania from Malta

 

Testing

If you are travelling to Lithuania from Malta, you will only be allowed to enter the country provided that you are fully vaccinated, have recovered from Covid-19 or take a Covid-19 test taken up to 72 hours before your arrival in the country. Passengers under 16 years are exempt from this travel requirement.

 

Quarantine

Only passengers who are fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid-19 are not required to self-isolate upon arrival in Lithuania. All other passengers will be required to self-isolate for 10 days from the date of arrival, with the possibility of ending the period of quarantine earlier if a second test taken on the 7th day of isolation results in the negative.

 

Forms and Declarations

You must fill in this electronic form up to 12 hours prior to your time of arrival in Lithuania. Upon your arrival in the country, you will be asked to provide confirmation of the completed electronic questionnaire (QR code) by officials at border and passenger checkpoints.

Requirements for Entry into Malta from Lithuania

 

Testing

Lithuania is one of the countries currently listed on Malta’s Amber List. This means that if you are arriving in Malta from Lithuania, you will need to present a negative result of a Covid-19 PCR test, taken up to 72 hours prior to boarding your flight, upon your arrival at our airport.

Passengers in possession of a valid Maltese vaccine certificate can present this in lieu of the negative test result.

 

Quarantine

If you do not present a negative test result or a valid Maltese vaccine certificate, you will be required to undergo a swab test at Malta International Airport and may also be asked to observe a period of self-quarantine. More information is available here.
