Requirements for Entry into Luxembourg from Malta

 

Testing

If you are travelling from Malta to Luxembourg, you will be required to present a negative result of a PCR, TMA, LAMP or viral antigen test taken not more than 72 hours prior to departure.

Children under 6 years are exempt from this travel requirement.

 

Quarantine

Travelers entering Luxembourg from Malta do not need to self-quarantine if the above documents are presented to the authorities on arrival.

No other forms or declarations are required for entry into the country.

Requirements for Entry into Malta from Luxembourg

 

Testing

Luxembourg is one of the countries currently listed on Malta’s Amber List. This means that if you are arriving in Malta from Luxembourg, you will need to present a negative result of a Covid-19 PCR test, taken up to 72 hours prior to boarding your flight, upon your arrival at our airport.

Passengers in possession of a valid Maltese vaccine certificate can present this in lieu of the negative test result.

 

Quarantine

If you do not present a negative test result or a valid Maltese vaccine certificate, you will be required to undergo a swab test at Malta International Airport and may also be asked to observe a period of self-quarantine. More information is available here.
