Requirements for Entry into Luxembourg from Malta

 

Testing

If you are travelling from Malta to Luxembourg, you will be required to present one of the following health documents prior to boarding your flight:

  1. a negative result of a PCR, TMA, LAMP test taken not more than 72 hours prior to departure or viral antigen test carried out less than 48 hours before departure.
  2. a vaccination certificate attesting to a complete vaccination pattern of a vaccine which has been authorised for use by the European Medicines Agency, i.e. the vaccines of the companies AstraZeneca, BioNTech/Pfizer, Johnson&Johnson and Moderna.
  3. a recovery certificate issued by a practitioner or national authority of an EU Member State or Schengen Area Member State for persons who have had a recent SARS-CoV-2 infection within 6 months prior to travel and who have completed the applicable isolation period in the respective country with resolution of all symptoms of infection will also be accepted.

Children under 12 years are exempt from these travel requirement.

 

Quarantine

Travelers entering Luxembourg from Malta do not need to self-quarantine if the above documents are presented to the authorities on arrival.
