Requirements for Entry into Slovakia from Malta

 

Testing

If you are travelling to Slovakia from Malta, you need to present a negative result of a Covid-19 PCR test which is not older than 72 hours.

If you have received your vaccination, in full or partially, or recovered from Covid-19 in the 180 days leading to your travels, you may present a vaccination certificate or proof of recovery. For more information in this regard, please refer to the Decree of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic available here.

 

Quarantine

Travellers entering Slovakia from Malta who do not fulfill the above-mentioned travel requirements need to observe a 14-day isolation period, which may be ended earlier upon receipt of a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken upon arrival in the country. Children under 18 years are exempt from this requirement.
