Requirements for Entry into Tunisia from Malta

 

Testing 

If you are travelling from Malta to Tunisia, you will be required to present a negative Covid-19 test, taken up to 72 hours before the check-in time at the airport of departure. The test must contain a QR code generated by the centre where the test was carried out.

Children under the age of 12 years, fully vaccinated travelers as well as travelers who tested positive for Covid-19 at least 6 weeks prior to their trip and have been vaccinated at least once are exempt from this travel requirement.

 

Quarantine

You will also be required to observe a 7-day quarantine when entering Tunisia. Fully vaccinated travelers as well as travelers who tested positive for Covid-19 at least 6 weeks prior to their trip and have been vaccinated at least once are exempt from this requirement.

Requirements for Entry into Malta from Tunisia

 

Testing

Tunisia is one of the countries currently listed on Malta’s Amber List. This means that if you are arriving in Malta from Tunisia, you will need to present a negative result of a Covid-19 PCR test, taken up to 72 hours prior to boarding your flight, upon your arrival at our airport.

Passengers in possession of a valid Maltese vaccine certificate can present this in lieu of the negative test result.

 

Quarantine

If you do not present a negative test result or a valid Maltese vaccine certificate, you will be required to undergo a swab test at Malta International Airport and may also be asked to observe a period of self-quarantine. More information is available here.
